AEM is moving under the radar. The stock just moved higher for now. Some buyers came in to sweep up some shares.

IEV - Locked in Profits

Locked in profits in IEV during the gap up this morning when it opened 0.076/0.077. It then shot to 0.077/0.078 for a split second and no one commited at 0.078 and hence the high recorded was 0.077. From there onwards after we locked in profits, the stock started to take a nose dive and then the overall market tanked down. What a close shave if we still thought for a moment and hesitate to take profits or not. Good day to start Thursday!

IEV - Last Minute Buyers Whacked

Wow!! Indeed, what I saw was correct. There was a sudden surged of buyers in IEV the last minute! See my earlier bullish post. The buyers came in to whack up the shares. Tomorrow there is a high chance that it might gap up! Can't wait to share more on how I scan stocks and perform short term trading during my talk on May 9th, next Tuesday.

Watching this stock call IEV. I believe it's bullish however there might be some twist and turns before moving higher. The stock had come collections and price maintains. I am watching closely for an entry point.

AEM - Recovering Gently

AEM is slowly recovering after that deep flush and sell down in the morning. It seemed as though the electronic sector is moving now with each different stock rotating after other. :)

AEM - A Flush in The Making?

Looks like there is some selling in AEM and it might be a flush in the making. As blogged and shared yesterday on this blog that AEM needs to be carefully watched first in case of an unexpected flush, it is currently now happening as predicted! I am definitely watching for a good turning point to hop in. Patient is the key now for a good entry price. I need to read the next movement before it happens. Stay tune!

List of Potential Stocks - Short Term Contra Trading

Below are my current list of stocks for short term Contra trading. In short term trading, it pays to be careful and vigilant and hence below are my reasoning before entering a trade. I will never jump to buy if the BBs are not touching it. If you want to make $$ in short term Contra trading, you have to study the BBs movements before it actually happens. Click the link below and see my contra trades for Contel Corp back in 2013 where I traded for 1 month about 20 times in/out and acheived a 100% hit rate with no loss.

Many said it's impossible but I made it possible because if you can predict and know how and when to enter/exit, everything is possible.

ISDN - Strong concentrated amount of buyers, will look for a turning point to hop in.

AEM - Looks like collections on going. Need to watch carefully for a turning point in case of an unexpected flush that might happen.

Innotek - The traders who traded this counter are slow and steady. Watching for more active flow of traders.

GSS - Something is brewing. Need to see if there are 1 lot marking before deciding my course of action. If it's to sell down, cannot short because there is no scripts. Only available for longing.

Yangzijiang - $1000 Profits

 
Happy to see this profits from a student who just made $1000 from short selling Yangzijiang. In my talk 2 weeks back on short term trading vs long term investing, I mentioned that the market will be volatile with swings an indeed 2 weeks later, it materialized. The market was one day down, next day up and then down more today.

I am not sure if you concur with me but look at the STI and YZJ, they are similiar and they tanked. I think during this early bear market, it's wise to learn how to short sell and take advantages on the down side. Long term investment is definitely great but one has to do it at the right timing for it to be more efficient and effective. Looking at YZJ tanked today, I can only congrats and say good job to my student.

Advantages of Short Term Trading - Flow with Syndicates Movements

I definitely enjoyed sharing my views, experience and knowledge last Saturday to a wonderful audience who came for my talk hosted by Shareinvestor. The syndicate movements in any stocks is the key towards success in short term trading. Well, it also applies to mid term and long term trading where if without any buyers (syndicates), the stock price would not be moving no matter how fundamentally sound a company is.

There are certain traits in their movements where they normal love to do flushes, collections, 1 lot marking, rollover, profit taking, distribution and wash sales. If one knows how to spot and see these fine turning points, he/she would be able to catch the big move before it really happens and that's what I had been practicing and teaching in my courses for many years. Long term investment is great because one can unlock your wealth to greater heights but for me personally, I still trust that without buyers/sellers, there wouldn't be any price movements. Syndicates are the root of price movements and we must be able to understand the mechanism and dynamics of how they operate the market.

I am planning for my next talk where I will be sharing more syndicates movements, they way to play up a stock up/down, the protocol they use to communicate the market and the techniques they use to move prices. Jadason^ - An Amazing Run

Jadason^ had a 50% gain today with an amazing burst of price. It was a day with some long time ago penny stocks started to run. I mean long time ago as in stocks that haven't run for a long time which used to be in play in the past. When I saw the chart, I knew I wasn't able to spot such stocks if I am not focused or if I am not on my desk. However I am pleased to see my youngest student who haven't entered the university yet started to make some small progress in his trading. So happy to see that he was able to spot it and made $ out of it. Good one Mr Lim! Continue your work in picking the right counters.

Singpost - Student's Trade

I believe this student is working on his craft in trading. Consider his young age and his skill, he's really quite good in picking good counters to trade be it long/short. The other day he shorted Singpost and is currently in a $500 unrealized profits which I thought that it was really not bad. Singpost had some selling today and the sellers were consistently without much support. I advise him to do swing trades to maximize his rewards and he heed my advice. So happy to see such rewarding results. Hope to coach more students like him.

A Birthday Celebration - Thank You Everyone!

It is my birthday today. Here, I would like to thank all the students who came for my celebration and the people who planned, gave me gifts, trade with me on DBS and all students who took their precious time to attend my morning and afternoon LIVE Trading and market watching. During the celebration, I spotted DBS and we shorted the stock. Towards the end of day, DBS just collapsed profusely and I wish all are in the $$ now. Looking forward to the month of April. Japfa, Singpost, Gallant - My Student's Trade Record

Received a bunch of trade record from my student who traded 3 stocks, gallant venture, singpost and japfa and all 3 were very profitable. Using the simple techniques to scan for the right counters and then using the operators protocol and lingo, he was able to spot some good turning points before the stock run up. Looking at all the Whatsapp messages he sent me on the explanation on how he entered and finished a trade, it was all correct and spot on. He's still young and have a bright future. I believe with the right set of knowledge and skillset, he is able to move far soon. Congrats on your winnings!
